TASTE Café | Taste the food of TASTE The TASTE Café at the Olympic Sculpture Park is a modest café offering homemade seasonal soups with fresh baked focaccia bread, Lucy's fresh baked scones and cookies, Lucy's ice cream sandwiches, specialty drinks featuring local espresso and seasonal granitas, a variety of packaged local and organic snacks and refreshing local beverages. At TASTE, we consider compost a vital part of our organization. All of our café packaging is bio-degradable. All paper, food and bones, are collected for compost (our fryer grease is also collected for BIO-diesel). Our strong partnership with Cedar Grove supports our mission to give back to SAM and our community in all natural compost that sustains the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Echoing the stellar view, TASTE Events offers custom catering at the OSP Pavilion featuring outdoor seafood grilling stations, while glistening oyster bars reflect the reclaimed Elliott Bay shoreline below. Salads of vibrant organically-grown vegetables and award-winning wines from the valleys of Eastern Washington all represent the richness and diverse nature of the Northwest sustainable culinary scene. TASTE Café is open June 4–September 4, 2011 | Saturday & Sunday from 7 am–5 pm |
